Cow parsley is EVERYWHERE at the moment. I walk past so much of the stuff when I’m at work that I had to take a closer look to see what animals where living on and around it. I was excited to find a few animals just within ten minutes of casual exploring.
The animal that I came across the most was ladybird larvae; I love these little monsters! They look like hardy caterpillars with fearsome choppers and no wonder why considering they’re fantastic predators in their own right. I wouldn’t want to be a little aphid when one of these was in the area, especially as the eat LOADS of them before they’re big enough to pupate and become a colourful ladybird.
